Seating Policy
Seats are guaranteed only until curtain time. As we are a theater in the round, latecomers may have to wait to be seated until an appropriate break in the performance. Colonial Players reserves the right to not seat latecomers if an appropriate time is not available to do so. Latecomer seating is at the discretion of the stage manager. A television monitor in the lobby allows late patrons to view the performance. Please allow plenty of time for parking in the crowded downtown area.

Important:

Discover how to transform any stage with the power of light. This hands-on workshop introduces the basics of theatrical lighting design for community theatre, including how to interpret a script for lighting needs, choose and position fixtures, and use color, angles, and cues to create mood and focus. Whether you're working with a full rig or just a few instruments, you'll leave with practical tools to enhance storytelling through lighting.

This workshop spans 6 weeks, with sessions held on June 21, June 26, July 5, July 12 , July 19, and July 26, all from 9 am - 12pm. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions. Admission fee covers all sessions.

This workshop will be led by John Purnell and Matt Rigby.
